Instead of going to college, Borko has decided to be a fisherman. He lives on a small Croatian island Kaprije with his girlfriend Livia. The island comes alive in the summer, but summer passes quickly and the rest of the year life moves at a different pace. The film depicts this double life of islands through everyday life of a young couple, living a not-so-ordinary life away from civilisation.
