Tonći Gaćina was born in 1983. in Split. In 2010. he graduated in Film and Video at the Art Academy in Split, in 2015. he gained a diploma in Film and TV directing at the Art Academy in Zagreb. He made Pape (2010), Šta bi bilo… (2009), 22:22 Split-Zagreb (2008), Nasljeđa (2010) i Vatra! (2012). Gaćina works as a director, cinematographer and camera assisant. He is the vice- president of Kino klub Split.
Every summer, towns and cities on the Croatian coast double their population through the influx of tourists from all over the world. Tourism is today the biggest part of the Croatian economy, and it often looks like it may be the only one.
Tourism! traces the fragments of various stories along the Croatian coast. Some of the locals catch and farm fish, some prepare it, and some entertain the guests… The life cycle appears never to end; faces, identities, emotions and results transcend towns and locations.
